form3D is excited to welcome libs, Industrielle Berufslehren Schweiz, as a new member of its growing network. Together, we are bringing additive manufacturing and 3D printing closer to the next generation of Swiss engineers, technicians and manufacturing professionals.
As Switzerland's leading vocational training organisation for technical and industrial apprenticeships, libs supports more than 200 partner companies, including ABB, Hitachi Energy, Alstom, GE Vernova and SR Technics. Through its unique training model, apprentices gain both foundational technical skills and practical industry experience, preparing them for successful careers in Swiss industry.
This partnership comes at an important time. Additive manufacturing is transforming industries such as mechanical engineering, automation and industrial production, yet many apprentices have limited opportunities to gain hands-on experience with these technologies during their training. By combining libs' nationwide reach in vocational education with form3D's expertise in additive manufacturing training, we can help close this gap and equip future professionals with the skills needed for tomorrow's manufacturing environment.
Switzerland's industrial competitiveness depends on a workforce that is ready for emerging technologies. Together, libs and form3D aim to promote awareness, practical skills and innovation in additive manufacturing, helping ensure that 3D printing becomes an integral part of technical education and workforce development in Switzerland.
We are proud to welcome libs to the form3D network and look forward to working together to inspire the next generation of manufacturing talent.
